About This Project

The largest commercial project to come to market since the Christchurch rebuild began is rapidly taking shape. A five-storey, multi-use, seismically-advanced complex at 287 – 293 Durham Street, in the heart of Christchurch’s Central City, is the largest of three new offices and retail buildings being built, all at the same time, on the western bank of the Avon river.

Unique Aspects

With three largescale projects being constructed side by side, access has frequently been challenging. Awly is also quite an emotional build for the people of Christchurch and for the owners of the site, the Yeo family, who are long-term Christchurch residents and have openly stated their commitment to staying and rebuilding Christchurch, so the project is attracting quite a bit of interest from the public.

Arrow International together with Southern Response have worked on many Christchurch rebuild projects.
