About This Project

Expansion and upgrade of the terminal and apron at Queenstown Airport to accommodate increased passenger loads. The new 9,300m² terminal integrates the domestic and international terminals in a single facility. The apron works included upgrade of the existing five aircraft stands and provision of two new aircraft stands.

The upgrade works will future proof the airport for future expansion through to 2025.

Arrow managed the project from the initial development planning right through to full construction.

Unique Aspects

The airport remained fully operational so the construction was staged to maintain business as usual. Management of over 70+ stakeholder requirements including design and liaison throughout the project. Coordination of government and commercial tenancy fitouts.
